    And now Coopers stint at Chesterfield looks doubtful, he was injured in his first game.

    Cooper should be fine, he got studded in the chest and is a bit bruised, but he shouldn't be out for long.

    He scored and they won 6-1 in the one game he played in, so I suspect they're pretty keen to keep him.

    He didn't score. But I'm sure like you say they'll be keen on keeping him as it's a team below his level.

    Did he get an assist or something?

    I'm sure I remember reading on a Chesterfield board that he was involved in one of the goals.

    Or maybe I'm just losing the plot.

    I've never really rated the likes of Jamie Devitt or Atkinson, Cullen or even Cooper than much in all honesty. All seemed like decent young players when they came on the scene but when given the chances they never really impress. Devitt seems too slow and not tricky or strong enough to be a winger at this level. Atkinson much the same as Devitt although his technical game is actually worse. Cullen always looks lost on the pitch imo and struggles to make an impact no matter where he goes. Cooper I'm 50-50 on though. He's obviously very highly rated within the club or he wouldn't have such a high rep for a young player, but again when I've seen him he hasn't impressed me much. Of course he had that game at Anfield but that was years ago now. One can never tell in football, look at Grant Holt, he had to work his way up from the bottom to learn his trade properly or even Bothroyd. Got released from Arsenal for being a hothead, dropped down a couple of divisions and came back with a bang, smashing them in for Cardiff before being signed for QPR and looking a bit poo in the prem. Hopefully with more experience Cooper will come good for us but I don't hold much hope for the others.

    Shame for Devitt but i would not be surprised to see him go to Rotherham on a FAT in the summer. Rotherham seam to like him.
