You spuds are trying to justify everything by crying 'freedom of speech' yet I just received a pm from Spurf telling me I will be banned unless I remove my signature. Are you people for real? You cannot whitewash everything you don't like & the issue won't go away by banning people who say things that embarrass you. What next, racial profiling upon entry to the forum? I've just been reading a bit online from the Mail (sorry guys ) and I stumbled across a quote from Baddiel which I've brought to attention (not sure if anyone else has mentioned this): 'At Tottenham, the club's "Jewishness" is just an historical association with the area. It's doubtful that there are more than five per cent actual Jews in the ground at home games (only 0.4 per cent of the UK is Jewish). So the argument "but it's just like Snoop Doggy Dogg using the N-word" does not apply to most Spurs fans.' Hang on now Baddiel (you're a c*nt by the way - Skinner was always the funny one), now I'm no lawyer or anything but surely basing a part of his argument on assumption surely makes it an invalid point? There's no proof of percentage of how many fans at the Lane are indeed Jewish, for all he knows a vast majority COULD (doubtful) be Jewish, so by basing part of his argument on a "probably not" factor, he can really f*cking do one. I'll argue and say that the 249048 Jewish people living in UK, are "probably" Spurs fans and a large percentage "probably" go to the Lane.
You are without class COYG. I said we do not like to ban people. That is not to say we will ban you if..... It was a polite request in private following some objections received. This was to give you the opportunity to moderate yourself If you do not wish to respond to that it is your prerogative not to. If your signature leads to more trouble we will delete the comments concerned.

I think those that understand the English language will understand what I am saying in the PM that you decided to make public. I think people will draw their own conclusions from your posts. Perhaps you would like to banned COYG as you seem to be going out your way to be offensive. Any members of our board who would like to PM the Moderators are of course free to do so on this or any other matter. We will not make them public unless YOU request that they are made so.

I was asked publicly by a spurs fan to remove or change a signature once before and I did. There were no cowardly veiled threats or hypocrisy involved, just a polite request. Sadly, your current crop of mod gangsters are incapable of showing such class. As for the board in general, as this thread clearly demonstrates, you are incapable of discussion without eventually resorting to attacking posters who differ in views from your own. As for PM's and the publicising of them. If you are afraid of whatever you write being seen by all, don't write it. The PM was in MY inbox and therefore mine to do with as I please. That I used it to embarrass a Spud mod is neither here no there.
