It did allow one of yesterdays papers to run with the headline Rod Stewart - I Am Wailing....

Anyone who cries at a football match is a tit.

    It's pathetic.

    End of.

What if they'd just received a phone call saying their family had just died in a plane crash?

It would depend on what the score was at the time.

Under those circumstances it would be
    acceptable.

To cry over a game of football???

    Have a word.

I shed a tear at Wembley for my Grandad who didn't live to see the day we made it into the top division.

Oh I am bad with that stuff, I cry at the drop of a hat these days. My girlfriend calls me puddles cos I tend to cry at sad films.
I went home for the first time in 25 years a couple of years back and I took my son for his first visit to Hull. We were walking down Anlaby Rd towards the KC over the flyover for the Swansea first game of the season match and all I could think about was me and my dad walking the same path 40 years previously.
We were singing that song... Now I take my son... to the KC stadium.. and dad looks down from heaven... until the lights go dark. I was a bloody mess ha ha ha.
However having said that I would never cry over a football result apart from say winning at wembley at making the top flight for the first time but again that would only be over thinking of fallen tiger fans that never lived to see the day.

    I disagree.

The only two occasions a man is allowed to cry on, is when their team is relegated, and when their family is killed - on the day which their team is relegated.

Luckily I've never experienced that, although I'd assume blocking a shot with your bollocks is pretty similar. Didn't get up from that one for a good 15 minutes.
