I only have eyes for NH this time of year Sir Barney. Wincanton looks like a very decent card with Sandown and Kelso decent back up <ok>

Yep, that Wincanton card looks nice at the 5 day stage. If most of the principals stand there ground should be most informative. Especially, keen to see if Mr Henderson sends out Karazhan under a penulty in the 'lucky last'.

I fancy Befortyfour in the 4:20 Wolves to be in frame at 25/1, Amy Ryan is on board.

    Good luck...

Good morning all... Well the thread title paints a jolly start to the day but im afraid the weather and racing dosnt match its optimism... Nevermind, as they say, someone has to win the race even if it is a poor one... Only looked at Muss today so here are the ones to miss out today...

    Musselburgh...
12.50 - Stars Du Granits, eve
    1.20 - Voges, 11/4*
    1.50 - Swift Escape, 5/1*
    2.20 - Ifyouthinkso, 5/1*
    2.50 - Simply Ned, 13/8
    3.20 - Red Tanber, 13/2*
    3.50 - Sharivarry, 5/1

    * - all in a small Lucky15 for a bit of interest... Good luck to all who do play today...<cheers>

    Good luck Les Arcs.

Disappointing days racing but i've backed a few.

    Musselburgh

    1.50 Swift Escape e/w
    2.50 Simply Ned
The bumper is potentially a very good one for the track and will be worth watching.

    Morning all,

Think it could be a good day for fav's. Ferdy Murphy and John Winston to win the opening two races at Hexham and Panthers run in the 3.30.
Over at Fontwell Quaddick Lake and Venetian Lad to win along with Rash Moment. My main 3 bet will be:

    1.00 Hex: Ockay de Neulliac
    2.10 Font: Quaddick Lake
    2.40 Font: Venetion Lad

    Good luck all

Tweet from @BillEsdaile Willie Mullins' Ut De Sivola has been put down following a schooling accident. Very sad for the yard that lost Sous Les Cieux recently too

Anyone see Anthony Knott on ATR <laugh> he is so funny. He can't see anything getting near HUNT BALL in the King George. Absolute legend.

    Thank crunchy it's friday!

A small punt today on Nine Stories in the 2:50 Mussellburgh. This horse has dropped plenty in the weights and should enjoy the ground and although well down the field on his last start he threw his chance away early. The favourite simply ned is clearly a major danger, but if nine stories is on a going day he will take all the beating.

    Good luck to all today.

    Harry Challoner <laugh>

Dunno why everyone was shouting about that horse today, he got beat 20 lengths at plumpton off the same mark....plumpton, thats they slow slow animals all over the back, terrible racing.

On Satruday the best racing is at Naas, Rory OMoore, arguably the classiest animal on show in Europe this weekend, will be annihilating a hot maiden field with the likes of Hot Prospect and Blissfull Moment expected to be left miles behind after 50 yards, Jezki getting a stone from that grade 3 blinkered rag Hisabaat and as if that wasnt enough, the next Denman, Teelin Star in a novice chase against top class opponents Make A Track, My Murphy, The Westener Boy and Texas Jack in the race of the day by a country mile.

Two decent races at Wincanton right enough with Poungach vs Court In Motion and the Elite Hurdle but outside of that action the racing is terrible, some nice stuff in Ireland on Sunday though as per the scriptoid.
