This^. Didn't think anyone had a particularly bad game last night. They scored through decent skill from Traore combined with tactical errors from both Coates (shouldn't have dived in with a tackle) and Jones (shouldn't have come for it). Our mostly young team bossed the majority of the match.
I missed the first half which is supposedly his better half. But I thought he was terrible in the second half. Everything about him was lazy - his pressing, his passing and his touch. Seems to have lost that composure and confidence. Also, I disagree that he plays better with better players around him. I think he is intimidated and frightened when he's playing with the likes of Gerrard and Suarez. He does normally stand out when he has the lesser players around him. I am a fan of Shelvey - I think he is a raw natural talent. It will take him time but I'm sure he will get there. But for now, he shouldn't be in the first XI.
I definitely think I was watching a different game to most people. Shelvey/Henderson getting slagged off and Suso getting praised to the rafters. I'm a massive Suso fan, but I don't think there was much difference between them all last night to be honest. IMO, nobody really stood out in good way or, conversely, a bad way.
You must have seen him have some shockers if that was one of his better performances mate. He was awful imo, poor touch, reckless challenges, poor positional sense, just plain crap basically.
I only saw the second half last night and I thought Suso was very good. It was a tricky pitch but he looked so comfortable on the ball, whereas Jonjo kept fumbling. Suso has the abiltiy to beat players with ease and without pace which highlights his incredible skill and technique.
Totally agree. I think every player did most things right but can't think of one who didn't make a mistake or two either.
It's called an opinion mate & mine was that Shelvey was ****e last night, an opinion which will be shared by many who actually know anything about the game.
Nah, you lot getting turned over is hardly a rarity these days pet. 3 homes league wins in the whole of 2012, wow.
No thank you. You will never silence me. I will not shut up until you develop some intelligence and common sense which would earn you a place not only on this board but in society and the human race. Until then, I will consider you as sub-human.
Mate seeking a bitters advice on a Liverpool player is like asking the pope for contraception advice, then when the missus starts pumping out kids going back and asking him for childcare advice
You, like some others, appear to be struggling with the concept of a multi club discussion forum Stick to RAWK if you don't want to read the views of non reds or just want to hear the 'party line'
