bates needs to **** off. he's just so terrible at his job, clinging to that last bit of attention he can get from screwing us over a little longer. Step aside and let someone else have a crack!
In all honesty it wouldn't bother me if Bates did stay on (I'd prefer it if you didn't respond to this Marko, can't be bothered to be honest). Bates runs the club in a decent manner however with things lacking. If GFH do have the money and want it to go towards the playing staff then it will and we will be capable of bringing in better players and competing while Bates is also keeping the club stable. The only issue would be fans would still protest and we would still get low crowds because he is here and that will happen until he is gone
the main issue with bates staying is that the majority of fans who are staying away would continue to stay away. The divide amongst the fans will continue as he continues to blither on with his controversial nonsense and tripe that's only purpose is to get him attention. The unsure and uneasy feeling will not be gone until we're rid of this cancer for good.
depends how much of a role he kept. if it was just 'advisory' then fair enough. but if he still had the power to set the silly prices and spout of in the programme i wouldnt be too happy. although i dont mind paying higher prices for attractive, winning football! so if gfh bought good players and bates stayed on then id accept that
Not ideal but better than what we have. Plus there can't be many years left in Him anyway. Mightn't be any harm to have his tiny brain to pick for a while. After all GFH have no experience of running a football club
I don't even want to entertain the thought of Bates staying on. Expect there to be a massive backlash if thats the case and fans to remain divided. If he is still here when Chelsea rock into town something should be done then. Even if its the whole of ER signing one Matthew Harding, he needs to know he is not welcome & bringing in some rich investors wont cover over the cracks of what he has done to our great club (thats another debate please don't draw me into it the facts are out there)

I personally think he's doing a brilliant job! Getting rid of Bates would be the worst thing L***s could ever do. He is a top chairman and is the only person to take TWS forward as a Football Club.
Why would I want to be L***s? I'm not from there, only go there for away matches with City and I've been raised to hate them. I highly doubt I'd want to be anything that's even got something to do with the team Hang on, the majority of your fans actually aren't from L***s themselves so maybe that point was a tad invalid.
