For some reason he's just been wheeled out in front of the Spurs crowd for their non-Bolton, non-Muamba related Europa League tie with Maribor, a side Muamba has never played for from Slovenia, a country he has no connection with.

Can somebody tell me what the achievement is in him not dying?

Is he there to publically say thanks to the Spurs fan (the one that was a doctor r a paramedic or something) that saved his life? :p

1 of the poorest threads I've ever had the displeasure of reading. Quite ironic that you have a problem with this and then post it in a HULL CITY forum

Might be to do with the fact that Muamba collapsed at White Hart Lane in front of the Spurs fans and for the reason Ricardo mentioned.

    Shabby Erik.

A bloke thanking people for saving his life is fair enough.

Didn't he collapse in a match against Spurs? Probably just a show of goodwill by them.

As for your last sentence, the achievment in him not dying is that he's still alive today. Forgive me if I've read it wrong, but it sounds a bit like you'd prefer if he hadn't made it?

No, he just walked out to a standing ovation and then ****ed off again.

Apologies, but I can't make any sense of this babble. Please re-post it in English.

And that's an achievement?! In no way at all would I rather the man had died, but I fail to see what's so special about collapsing, having medical professionals save your life and happening to be lucky enough to 'make it'

You moan about Muamba been at an event that had no relation to him then post it in a our forum when it bears no significance to our team. If you don't understand this then it's your English that's lacking

I don't think you know the definition of 'irony'

    Yours condescendingly,

Was he actually in a wheelchair?

If he was on a mobility scooter It would have been worth watching I suppose, especially if he pulled a wheelie or performed an endo.

If he just walked on the pitch??

Nah, boring as frig and quite frankly a waste of everyone's time.

I'm with Erik on this really. We're all pleased that he survived and everything but it wasn't relevant at all and wasn't presented as though he was thanking the Spurs fans, it was more like he was being presented to them as some kind of hero and they were all forced to cheer.

Any money he raises for charity should be welcomed, probably overkill though nobody died- he's a lucky lad. Maybe if it was one of our players Erik might have a bit more empathy.

I can understand why people thought the whole 'pray for Muamba' thing was a bit ****, but him going back to Spurs to say thanks for saving his life is surely fair enough?

It would be, but it didn't seem to be him saying thanks, it seemed to be more about them thanking him for choosing their ground to nearly die at.

It was probably arranged with the intention of being Muamba's way of saying thanks as you say, but it didn't come across that way watching it.

    This thread makes me sad.

Erik, let me help you and AJBTiger out, what he was saying was: You're a ****, and why post these types of **** threads on the Hull City forum, when clearly its **** all to do with us, and makes us all look like ****s too, why don't you use the general forum or are you pussy ****stain?

There, he should understand that paragraph.

I sense you're not being serious, but for the life of me I can't think why you aren't

Hurrah! A sensible poster at last! You obviously watched it, unlike the others!

'Pray for Muamba' was pathetic, juvenile tedium that made me want to choke the **** in his hospital bed. Once again, I repeat, he was not there to say thanks. He walked onto the pitch, got a standing ovation for his Houdini-esque feat of avoiding death through quick and efficient medical care and then disappeared into the night (oh OK, the tunnel).
