I agree with Rodgers team selection for this game but like I said in a previous thread, he should know by now who's good enough and who's not. This was a final chance for some and once again nobody seems to have stepped up and taken the opportunity.

Great competition to play fringe and youth players in but the league has to be our priority, if our league season carries on in the same vein after Christmas all the possession and hitting the woodwork wont matter, we'll be in the relegation mire. So if we get knocked out of the EL it might be a blessing in disguise because the further we get in it the more BR will be tempted to play our first team members and our squad is as thin as **** as it is. That said tonight's team did 'ok' against one of Russia's top teams but could have done even better.
Ok, this is already getting old. He used it after Newcastle as well.... You are outstanding when you ****ing win after all of the good pressure and possession. We really weren't outstanding against Newcaslte either. Outstanding is more like Norwich or a really hard fought draw/win when against the odds.

Nice Passing but no cutting edge. Suso was great on the ball as usual when he came on, amazing for one so young. Was hoping Pacheco would come on for Cole as he is not a CF, and playing him there highlights his size rather than highlighting his skills...Shame Yesil got injured as he would have been a better sub for Morgan. Need to dick young boys now and get see what happens against Udinese
