Who do you guys prefer to play centrally?

    Giroud
    Podolski (http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/178320.html?CMP=OTC-RSS)
    Theo

People say Giroud are getting good but I dont see him create something - sometimes hold the ball and bring wingers into play. Crouch can do the same! Actually, crouch have some wicked goals behind him..I expect a lot more from a striker. Create something from nothing. Having said this, I think podolski can do a little turn and smack the ball. Theo is getting very cool in front of the goal ...so one run and goal.

    What do you guys think?

If we played a 4-4-2 system, we could play up front with 2 strikers, and problem solved, in the middle you could have arteta and wilshere, with cazorla and oxo out wide, and sometimes the midfield could even interchange during the game with cazorla coming into the middle and wilshere going wide.

Rotation between pod and Giroud. Walcott occasionally otherwise on the right.

If we don't play Theo central then it won't be an option for much longer..

At home. Pod just behind a central striker. Either Giroud or Walcott.
    4411

Away. Either Pod or Giroud down the middle.

Personally i would give podolski a chance, he doesn't really give us anything on the left and he has been a striker his whole life so play him down the middle, but right now we don't really have anyone to play out on the left so wait till our injured players come back and then give podolski a shot down the middle.

I think Strikers & footballers (in general) should be more mobile in modern football .. i will go with each switching positions during a game, which will make it harder for defenders to predict their movements as each one of those 3 has a different style tbh ..

Podolski was given one game through the middle (Sunderland), so I think it's time that he was given another chance to prove himself through the middle.

It seems Poldi is growing tired of being played on the wing as he has to track back and do his fair share of defensive work, and has voiced his preference to play in his more natural position through the middle. He told Sky Sports.

“I’d rather play centrally up front,” said Podolski.

“On the left, I have to do a lot of defensive work, constantly running up and down. But I am not a classical winger.

Is it time to play two up front ? Podolksi, Walcott and Giroud all want to play there. Only Walcott is effective on the flanks.

I quite like the idea of a 3-5-2 with three CBs and two wingbacks, a three man midfield and two strikers.

err, not two per say but maybe a 4411.

I'm not sure - it works when you play like Italy and sit deep but as an attacking team I think we would get over-run in midfield.

That's why I'd play a 5 man midfield <ok> The wingbacks could offer width and we'd be strong through the middle.
