I'm thinking of starting to support Manchester City. I've never been to their ground, nor do i have any intentions of going. I kinda like the team but I HATE Manchester United. Don't get me started, I could talk all day everyday about the things I hate about them. The fella that sits beside me in work says that I won't be considered a proper fan!?! WTF! I can google images of the games and find youtube clips of the team in action. Surely that would make me a proper fan even if I am sitting in my bedroom, behind my laptop?

Quite right, which makes all this fannying about all the more satisfying. In 1994 Celtic supporters saved the club. Someone paid £1m without any expectation of getting it back just to keep our doors open. We hauled our club back from the brink.
