They won both games and remain on good form in Russia. This leaves them right on the arse of CSKA, in quite a competitive league, as money orientated as our own anyway. Best match thread ever Can't see anything other than defeat here so I'd be well happy with a draw. Looks like a weak squad but our best hope will be if we can soak up the inevitable Anzhi pressure and utilise Assaidis pace to hit them on the break. Not particularly confident about this one but hope we give them a good game at least. Apparently it could be one of our lowest away attendances in a European game in years due to the Anzhi chairman being involved in some sort of shenanigans with the tickets.
I can understand why such an inexperienced squad was taken as we need to be at our best on Sunday. It would be nice if some of those players made the most of this opportunity.
