Suarez needs to learn how to actually con the ref and win a freekick/penalty before he can be mentioned in the same breath as Ronaldo, Drogba, Robben, Young and co. there is no point in being a 'serial diver' if your not going to get anything out of it, but then again maybe that's all divers deserve.

 

Page I often agree with your analysis of stuff. Ronnie did dive a lot in his first couple of seasons but when he started to become the player he is, he was too good for most players in this country and got hacked to pieces as he'd turn defenders inside out and nothing ever got given because of his first couple of seasons. As an opposing fan you probably don't sit there watching every minute of our games so you see what motd show you. I can honestly say ronnie was hacked to bits far more than he dived.. He may have made the most of it at times but he was always hacked..

With saurez.. I hate the orrible scrote, but he is a good player. As smithy pointed out he is good enough not to have to dive, the issue is your team isn't good enough for him not to dive. He is trying to unfairly win you games.. His issue will be as when you undoubtedly strengthen the side when he genuinely gets caught it won't get given.


As for raheemthetwatmachine defo kpr.. To hate filled to baz.. I liked baz.. You could at least sense the humour in his insults..

 

Fair enough sweats, only thing is Suarez does get kicked to **** in most games and as a former ref ITK said recently his former colleagues have decided that they will deliberately turn a blind eye to a certain extent when hes kicked(or stamped on as with Stoke's Huth)because of his reputation, but that in itself is a case of the referee cheating the player.

Suarez reckons he's not bothered but his actions tell a different story.

Also, on the Suarez-Ronaldo diving thing. If, for the sake of argument, we accept what Sweats said about Ronaldo, that he was a bigger diver for the first couple of seasons at Old Trafford and then stopped doing it as much, couldn't Suarez do likewise? After all, he only arrived at Liverpool in 2011, and therefore hasn't had a couple of seasons with us.
