They don't like it up 'em.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20239694
A true Character actor, always made me laugh, RIP Clive, you gave a lot of people a lot of pleasure over the years.
As far as I know there's still Bill Pertwee (Warden Hodges), Frank Williams (Rev Farthing) and one other member of the cast alive. (It's only a few weeks since I was talking about being surprised Clive Dunn was one of the cast members that was still living)
He wasn't that old when he first played the part of Jones, people thought he was a lot older than he actually was. R.I.P. Clive and thanks for the laughs.
Not quite. But R.I.P. Clive Dunn. It was great whilst it lasted. Indeed he was. Even got to No.1 in the charts with St. Winifreds school choir singing ""Grandad". About spot on. Sausages anyone ?
I think only Ian Lavender (Pike), Bill Pertwee (Warden Hodges), Frank Williams (Rev Farthing) and Pamela Cundell (Mrs Fox) are left. An excellent comedy, they certainly don't make them like that any more. RIP Clive Dunn.
Pertwee and Williams can't be too far behind Dunn in years. I know only Dunn was made up to look older than he was, but these two looked 40 odd in the ealry 70s. Dunno about the woman who played Mrs Fox.
