There has been alot of 'its since Bent left' ect cries which has echoed around the board since this bad run has reached its peak. Too me, its kinda Ironic that now Bents not here Bruce is getting slagged off for selling him and not getting a replacement when at the time some people were saying that Bent shouldnt be in the team because we had Welbeck and Gyan who were better together and therefore we were right to sell him. Then it was the 'We are too good for Fuller and Carew cries, where some people were too up themselves to look at the bigger picture which is what we have now where we have no focal point of the attack and not enough strikers. Although its Bruces fault for not buying a striker, some people on here cannot say that they not opposed to the Carew or Fuller move because they were passed it and we were better off without and some people cannot slate Bruce for selling Bent after he got blasted by some people who said he was 1 dimentional and Gyan and Welbeck were better together. I emphisise that it was some people with these cries and its ashame the position that we are in now but at the time when things were going well fans were behind Bruce saying; 'get to the end of the season with Gyan and Welbeck then sign Welbeck and Fraiser will be fit and its all plain sailing' we do not need ugly players such as Fuller and Carew because they were seen as below us I bet those who didnt want them would take them now. Its funny how things turn out and now everyone is opposed to our injury striking crisis and is blaming Bruce when they were behind his decisions to see it out too the end of the season. Thoughts?
Totally right. I was certainly unhappy with Bent at the time, he'd been piss poor for months, and i never felt the loss was massive. By the same token, i thought Fuller could offer us something, he's a handful and different, Carew i would have took just for the numbers, both would have fitted right in, as they are both injury prone. We could have signed both, and STILL had no strikers!
Well **** me just for once in my life i wanted candy not cabbage, Bruce is a ****er reguarding who he has picked and bought i could have done better on the internet, and as for motivation id get the ****ers playing, its the bage not the wage packet.
