Anyone who has access to QPR player should check out the Adel and Grenaro videos. Adel in particular seems to have changed so much, he is very supportive of TF, MH and the coaching staff. He comments that MH even told the players in the pre game chat exactly how Reading would play, all of which was played out on the pitch. Adel stated that the players were at fault and not the manager et al.

I heard the booing at the final whistle last Sunday, hopefully those fans will watch the Adel video and it will restore their confidence in the set up. Now is the time that our team needs our support, there is no magic wand only hard work and a bit of luck. In the words of a much grown up Adel 'We have to fight', if the guys are willing then so should we be!

    Good post.

Adel was charging around and trying to force the issue which was fantastic to see (at all stages of the game).

I heard someone say something similar to Adel earlier in the season too (about the prep).

Sadly, anything from being struck by lightening to treading in dog crap are usually attributed to Hughes on here but at least the players see reason enough to back him.

Not seen the Taarabt interview mate, heard it's good.
Our longest serving player now, never thought I'd say that.

Isn't it strange that in a crisis human nature brings everyone together agsinst a common foe, but a crisis in football and the manager becomes the villan and is ostracised.

It's a "no blame culture" but, if you pushed me, Rob Hulse, the Tories and that fat kid I didn't like at school (in that order).

I blame us the fans for not being positive enough! You don't need tactics or correct formations or selections, just positive thoughts!

I take your point Northy but there would be several of our players that are paid enough to make that list too (if players were included) and it could easily be said that they aren't doing what they're paid for.

For the squad, self-awareness followed by resulting action is the way forward and Tarbs has said that they recognise the first part and now they need to put in the graft.

For Hughes, he's at the stage where his teams gel and so, if it doesn't work from here, he'll need to be accountable (ie if they don't heed his warnings etc). It is virtually a brand new team so I reckon it's fair to count it as such. If it doesn't change imminently then I'll be with the majority on here but I'm not quite there yet.

Hughes is given £3m quid a year, he's to spent a lot of money on transfer, agent and sign on fees in bringing in 14 players over the summer alone whilst committing tens of millions of pounds a year in wages. Along with this he continues to amass an expensive backroom team which themselves also cost millions of pounds a year to coach, scout and identify how to get the best out of this team.

Hughes tactics, player selection (transfer wise and match day) added to his desire to continue sign players at a rate that they can't be assimilated into the team has dropped us in the relegation fight that the millions and millions of pounds being spent are supposed to have avoided.

Hughes is without a doubt to blame. If a half decent manager had come in the day after the Man City game there is no way we would be in this position now therefore responsibility for poor performance lyes solely with Hughes. We're ten games in now with 4 points and can't afford to still be at the ppoint of a team gelling and getting to know each other

Without doubt. And if TF isn't now in the process of replacing Hughes, he will share the blame equally with him when we are relegated, which is where, also without doubt, we have been heading since this season kicked off.

I like some of those names Northy, Dorival Junior sounds exotic as does the pithily named Tite at Corinthians...its about time we had a foreign flair man at the helm
