Lenny i was thinking of making a sticky, welcoming people to the watford site etc.... how do i go about it?

I think it would be a good thread to ease people in as it can seem a bit diff. for newbies to join in etc...

    what do people think?

We have never had a king here who is Íslendingur. Since 1944 we are a republic and before was the king of Danmörk, Norway or Sweden our ruler.

I go little Ak is fighting tonight.

    Hi all,

Saw this earlier and it's been making me chuckle ever since, thought I'd post it on here quickly:

I wish we had someone like him instead of the disgrace that is Cameron...

Yorkie - as Mod I can "stick" threads. Start a thread and I will make it sticky - we can see if it is popular that way and seems a great idea to me.

Yep, I saw him a couple of weeks ago and said to Mme that he makes me feel young. I dread to think what his partner in crime Brown must look like now.

I think that the pair of them are sulking that they did not get invites for the wedding. ;)

Cameron is currently doing a lot of damage to this country and he's part of the bombing of Libya, it's no Iraq but he's only just started...Syria is a war waiting to happen.

I know Blair and Brown weren't perfect but I do think they had good intentions <ok>

But you can't really compare Cardiff/Swansea to Rangers/Celtic. The Taffs have always played in England so are perfectly entitled to go up if good enough. Rangers/Celtic, on the other hand, have always played in Scotland - if they want to play in England let them put forward their case - but make them start at the bottom & work their way up as others have to.

There are precedents - Berwick Rangers are situated in England but play in Scotland, Gretna are situated in Scotland but did at one point play in England. Further afield, Wellington are in NZ but play in Oz.

Hmmm - I hated Brown with a passion - he spent years undermining Blair as he wanted the top job and then was not up to it. Blair should not have taken us into Iraq. Cameron - too soon for me to judge - bad things had to be done - but is he doing too many of them for his own agenda - time will tell. As I've said before I am not much into Party politics and would vote for anyone who could deliver 10% of what they promised

Ak - if you see this - OFH raised the point about doing another map on a different thread. You remember the one where we all put where we lived - is that possible on here - and were you our Map guru (in addition to be Kongur)

Not sure now Leo, but think it could have been BBs map. Clearly the brain cells need re-charging with a glass of View attachment 2541

Watching the Pompey vs Norwich match - a close-up of Grant Holt shows what a porker he is - needs a bra by the looks of things!

Good intentions? Taking us into an illegal war and then not funding the correct equipment and supplies to fight that war? I would not like to see their poor intentions then...that's the trouble with party politics, party supporters try to defend the indefensible just because it is their party
