you'd've loved the taxi driver I had taking me from the slopes and back in bulgaria then, total nutjob, it was more of an adrenalin rush than the black-runs.
Now you say it, it's true, I have loved that whenever I've been in a similar situation, although I had never really thought about it like that before. But I have never forgotten those situations.
Hamilton isn't going to be in with a shout of the title next year unless he's some kind of magician... But we could maybe judge his success by his points tally next season vs a 7 times WDC's points tally of this season. But if he falls short of that he'd get slammed for failing to meet it and if he far surpassed it, it would only be down to a better car and an extra 50 mil from Merc.
I expect him to be on the podium a few times, and I reckon he'll trounce Rosberg, who, as far as I'm concerned, isn't much cop.
That's about what I'm expecting... If he could luck in to a win during the course of the season, I'd be a happy chappy. I'd expect him to give Rosberg a run for his money also, but we'll have to wait and see on that one I guess. I'm not taking anything for granted and fully expecting a tough season. It's likely to be a season of small successes and hopefully gradual progress, so Hamilton fans will have to make the most of those moments. I'm really hoping Merc can pull a rabbit out of the hat, but given the last couple of seasons I not holding out a ton of hope.
Am i the only person who thinks Rosberg will prove himself and almost match Hamilton, although probably not beat him.
I've got no idea how good Rosberg is any more since I have no idea how good Schumacher is these days. I certainly don't feel he'll get embarrassed.
He will be better than people think. I think they are going to quickly realise the last three years were not really the drivers fault. He is a petty good, above average driver, about right for the level Mercedes were at until the last few races. I do think he lacks that spark to cause an upset though.
Rosberg and Schumacher were about equal....ish this season. But Rosberg is starting to pull away recently, though it might have to do that Schumacher doesn't care anymore. Nico can mostly step up to the plate whoever comes, Schumacher is proof enough even if he was out for a while. Schumacher had vastly more experience than what Lewis will have when he walks in against Nico, I reckon it will be no different to facing Button.
I think Nico may be better. I have expressed that I thought Lewis will be better, but I have a feeling that Nico knows the ins and outs of the MGP a little more to have the upper hand.
I believe Nico is no mug.. but, as its generally agreed, Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso with Kimi not so far behind are the class of this field, I'd be very impressed if he can keep up with Hamilton next year but I'm not expecting it...
I think on Qualifying pace Nico is likely to struggle, Hamilton is probably the best qualifier in the sport at the moment alongside Vettel but I expect in the races things to be a lot closer. The problem is that it is difficult to judge where Nico stands in comparison to the likes of the so called 'big three' as while he has generally done pretty well for Mercedes in the last three years he has not exactly had a team mate who has been performing well so it will be interesting to see how he goes against the first really strong team mate that he has had since Webber in his debut season.
