Would have taken a draw before the game, but **** THE REF & ****TY WET PITCH. Theo could have won it but encouraging signs
I thought we were very unlucky not to win that game. I thought we had two good penalty shouts in the 2nd half, the first on Walcott, then a thump in the back on Coquelin. Walcott was close with his offside goal and then the ref denied Podolski a chance to make it 3-1 I would have taken a draw before the game, but as it is, I'm pretty disappointed not to come away with all 3 points. We were much better in this game though than we have been.
Not true. We could have beaten them if the ref hadn't stupidly stopped play for a LEG INJURY, had spotted some FK/Pen shouts, the pitch wasn't wet and dodgy. We can still win this group.
Shouldnt have left the substitutions so late, could've done with Jack coming off early on, looked very tired
Not happy with the ref again. Just rewound it to look at the shoves in the back on Theo and then later Coq. The Theo one was a definite foul outside the box and Coq one a bit less obvious but lets put it like this, if an Arsenal player had done that to a Man U player it would have been a penalty every single time.
100% sure Poldi would have made it 3-1 if the ref hadn't called for a NON-HEAD INJURY Tbh with Gibbs we would have won (we need him back) but Verm at LB>Santos
Montiepillar have nothing to play for, and we have them at home next. Win that and hopefully Olympiakos get beat by Schalke again, and we go through.
Oh please. The thing is their chances were fair. As were ours. But the ref made some UNFAIR decisions. If he had made the FAIR decisions in those situations, we would most likely have won.
