The birds are singing, and we are no longer bottom!! Can it get any better than this? Already we're becoming hard to beat, climbing the table and on the way to not only our 1st win of the season but our 1st away win in 2012. It's a GREAT time to be a QPR fan right now! Soon the confidence will be flowing back into the squad, with slick attacking football only weeks away. All this negativity will be washed away in a flood points as we work our way high up the table. Hope no one's afraid of heights....... ;-)
It was a bit tongue in cheek gimme. I'll be amazed and very happy should it come true! And if it doesn't, I'll either blame it on too much drink or someone hacking my account!! Let's hope the positivity flows on from this page and surrounds us all......
'Fraid we are mate and by a good few points. We can all be as positive as we like, Hughes will still continue to get it wrong imo.
It can't rain all the time col. And I think(my own opinion) that to put the blame all onto one person is very narrow minded! Is it all MH's fault? I'm afraid there are more than just him to blame for our predicament this season, the players certainly are under performing . The right Tactics, formations and team selection wouldn't have stopped mbia getting sent off or taraabt missing an easy 1 on 1(yes it was easy). Hughes has a lot to answer for, but so do many others. No one just becomes a great manager over a couple of years. Mistakes will be made, as in all walks of professional life. TF is backing his man full tilt, and rightly or wrongly, we can't change that. That's why I feel it's time to move on from all this back or sack b*****ks!! Not because no one is allowed to be negative on here or voice their opinion. Just because it's been done to death already, and TF is too strong a man to change his mind because we bang on about it incessantly........
I agree that not everything that is wrong can be laid at Hughes's door and I agree that Taarabt's miss was a bad one. BUT, could it be that the players aren't taking to him? Is that why they're under performing? I don't know the answers, but I do know that I think Hughes will take us down. Too negative and tactically inept imo. You're right though that there's not much point in banging on about getting rid of him, as TF is clearly not going to. I will however, as a season ticket holder, ALWAYS pass comment on all things QPR.
You're right col, but like I said everyone has a right to say what they like. But I think it's a cop out for players to not perform well just because they don't like the manager. They should play with everything they've got for themselves, the fans and the club that pays their wages. There is no excuse not to put 100% in every single game!!
Could be that he's not getting his message across or they don't like the formation/tactics. Not necessarily that they don't like him personally. But hey, as you say, all a little pointless as it seems he's here to stay.
