He does them, us, Air Asia and Caterham road cars. Im surprised he hasnt had a nervous breakdown already.

I think he needs to step away from another interest too.

Won't say that Flyer...you cannot know how firm Amit is at the moment. TF might be the string that is holding us together.

Maybe he is losing so much money on both hobbies ...that one hobby has to go.. and it is the one that has the least chance of being successful. And yes I am serious about that. QPR have more chance of winning the Premiership than DCaterham having winning F1

Caterham bottom of the constructors league. We're (almost) bottom of the league. Amit gone as quiet as a mouse, Coincidence??
Let the conspiracy theorists have a go at that one!

i didnt mean us, I think think that he stretches himself too much with being the head of so many different business. It would make sense if he gave up control of AA and concentrated on us and Caterham which would mean not travelling to asia and back all the time.

Are you serious, AA is the only success he has he's not going to walk from a job he can do to one he can't.

Thats more of a reason to concentrate on the other companies. Hes built that up and now can hand it over and try and sort out us and Caterham cars.

As I said on the Rhino's thread, this is not news, was announced in September. Both Caterham F1 and QPR are brand awareness vehicles for AirAsia and Tune Hotels, they are all interlinked. Beard and Rigg run QPR, don't think our Tone spends all that much time on it - it doesn't take long to tweet.

The problem with non-fans taking over clubs is that they might not have the heart of a real fan. TF is a West Ham fan and I doubt Amit had heard of QPR before Briatore & Ecclestone took over and brought in the Mittals for their cash.

They are all business driven and if the cash is short the toys will be sold off. The F1 hobby has a lot of international glamour and the Premiership has the highest levels of domestic attraction of any sport in the UK but if they start to eat away at his own fortune then being sold off would not be a massive stretch of the imagination.

Best enjoy it while it lasts, at least there is more investment under TF than The Goons.

Premiership is the biggest sports brand in the world mate, even the Yanks have paid a fortune for TV rights, that's why these people are involved. As for fans owning clubs, two words - Chris Wright. Even Jim Gregory was only a fan because he owned the club - found it easy enough to switch to Pompey.

He will still be an owner, just not as hands on as he started out. As he said: "It was right for us to lead the team initially and set a template of how it should be. That vision is now set and the team is ready to move forward to the midfield."

He is looking for a Beard and Rigg to run Caterham.

So he hasn't lost interest. He has set the thing up the way he wants it to work and now hands over the day to day running and decision making to someone else.

That is the way all these business types work.

    So absolutely no problem whatsoever.
