Looks more like agent talk, but we've been linked with Neil Danns: http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-by-a-number-of-his-former-clubs-and-managers
I linked him with us last week or the week before, he's exactly what we'll need in the middle, readily available as I said he was (and others said he wouldn't be). Finally got on the bench for Leicester t'other day but think he was unused sub. With King on form, there's no place for him in the Leicester side, they're too similar, it's like playing Gerrard and Lampard together.
Danns is no longer wanted by Nigel. Playing **** is only part of the reason. We have King, Drinkwater, James, Wellens and now Lingard ahead of him I cant see us doing business with you after how things have been between the 2 clubs
Im pretty sure this will just be cos we were in for him previously under Nige and he's not playing now. His agent is just drumming up interest and anyway - I dont think he'd get in our team. Bob...sorry BS Man, how long have you been a fan of the roundheaded one? I dont think a single day of the past 8 years has seen me not listen to him in some form and it perturbs me that I could so regularly lock horns with a fellow devotee.
The news report is bollox anyway. Danns wouldn't be good enough to get anywhere near Quinn whose place he would be competing for and would more than likely be behind Cairney as well. Lester's leavings won't improve our squad.
And where has Sky got that idea from? His agent. I assume Danns has played for lots of managers, why arent they all listed? On current form he really wouldnt get anywhere near our team.
They're really not. King can tackle, pass and shoot for a start. I don't mind really Danns but he's all hustle and bustle and his ball retention poor.
Danns inability to keep his disapline is a big reason why he doesnt get in aswell 10 yellows and 2 reds last season for a squad player is pathetic
He certainly could do all those things whilst he was at palace, but I appreciate he's been **** for you. It was only last season when king was well off form most of your lot were saying he couldn't do any of those things, said all he could do was header a ball. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't, if alls not right for danns at Leicester it will be toughe for him to find confidence and play to the best f his ability. You know what they say, form is temporary, but class is temporary.
Yes but I wouldn't have called that one a lack of discipline, rather a very poor mistimed 50/50 with McKenna where both lunged and jumped in for the ball, McKenna happened to get it first meaning danns studds planted firmly into mckennas legs, it could very easily have happened the other way and McKenna be sent off.
True and to be fair to him he was played out of position for large chunks of last season. One thing you can be sure of is he'll work hard for the team, just seems to lose his head at crucial times.
