I'm sorry but do you think were like a league one team or something? Yes they have done well at home and a point would have been decent, but a miracle? If you think were that bad you must think were definitely going down!
I get the feeling the only way people can get this feeling is by reading all the headlines, such as "Adkins gone?" Only Man City have beaten West Brom at the Hawthorns this season. They are the champions in case you need reminding.
When the Sky cameras start gathering around the stadium you know you're on the brink. If he's still at Saints on Saturday, and we fail to beat Swansea, there's no ifs or buts, it WILL be the end for Adkins.
Wow you're hilarious. They've played five games which is a very small sample size and doesn't prove that there unbeatable. Say that in may when they've one all but one game then fine but at this stage to call a draw away at a decent team but by no way world beaters a miracle is incredible.
They've changed the article now, to read, "Southampton splashed the cash in the summer in a £27 million spending spree..."
Subtle difference. It was my opinion that he would be sacked if we lost yesterday. However what I stated just now about the Swansea game is nothing short of fact. I don't think anyone can be in any doubt that if we lose or even draw against Swansea Adkins will be sacked by 5pm Saturday (if he's still here).
I'm just saying, Cortese was willing to assess things after ten games. We're now ten games in. So naturally there is going to be an appraisal...
He never said that did he? I'd be surprised if there wasn't an appraisal of sorts after every game to be honest. But I still really think there's a lot more in the 'keep Adkins' column than the 'sack Adkins' column. Nobody has yet been able to say who we will replace him with, for a start. I know I'm just messing about. It really isn't fact though, it's still your opinion, just stated more forcefully. Truth is none of us knows the thought processes of the board. They might have decided at the start of the season that there's no expectation to stay in the division for all we know (unlikely, but still).

Unless you are privvy to some very confidential information, then it's just your guess. Again.
I don't think chairmen have appraisals of any sort after every game. Trust me, PTF - I'm with you on that. I have no idea who we can get that is better than Nigel. Do we swallow our pride and go for Harry? It's a hard situation.
Oh come on. Cortese must be very close to sacking Adkins as it is. A loss to Swansea will either mean Adkins will resign, or be sacked. Cortese is an ambitious man. Relegation does not fit into his plans, therefore he will take action before it's too late.
