Seeing me daughter being born was the most remarkable thing ive ever seen in my life. Take it all in mate, it really is something special P.s, my bottom lip quivered and I felt my eyes fill up but I swear there was no tears.
All the best mate, hope all goes well and despite what MM says, it is the best day of your life. Soak it all up mate cos they soon grow. Driving test and getting your hole in the first place come very close mind.

Exciting times Tees mate. When my first was born, my beautiful daughter, when I first held her I couldn't speak and I'm not ashamed to say I had tears rolling down my face. I was there for 7 hours holding our lasses hand in the build up. For the second one my first son I got there an hour before the birth. For the third one, there was a domino handicap in Steels Club across the road to the hospital and I asked the midwife to ring me when the bairn was due. (I won the handicap and got to her bedside just as she gave birth. )
The midwife. Hahaha She really did have a pop at me, said I was a disgrace. Our lass had to stick up for me, as she knew I hate hospitals. I even managed to get back to Steels before last orders.
