  1. Slim to nil but if he does he does, we'd get a nice pot of cash to invest in the team and the club goes on <ok>

Can we sell suarez to utd? that way he'll suddenly ebcome world calss and not a racist.

Then if we buy rooney we can prove he's a dirty scourse once and for all cos the mancs say it's so. espcecially when he misses a shed load of chances.

I would have Suarez every day of the week over that fat, granny shagging, lump of monkey spunk, Rooney every day of the week.

England win nothing as they are a team of individuals. Doesnt matter who plays as each is in it for their won gain. Gerrard wants to be the hero, John Terry wants to be the hero. Rooney looks like he could re arrange each of his england team mates faces during games. Its a big joke.

Teams with lesser players who work hard for each other are better than England.

Glad you understand what Suarez is btw <ok>

    2 goals and 5 assists in 7 games > 7 goals and 2 assists in 10 games.

Rooney contributes more even though hes got others chipping in goals and assists aswell.

Would Suarez move to United to sit on the bench and make the odd appearance in a dead rubber CL group game or FA Cup tie away at Barnsley?

Reading a number of threads on here there seems to be a viewpoint that Suarez is relied upon to do it all. Which was my point <ok>

Firstly Luis Suarez wouldn't join a debt ridden club with a geriatric manager with a side that contains rubbish like Carrick, Anderson and Phil ''I fall over my two left feet'' Jones. So I doubt it if you'll ever have to worry about that.

Hes not though is he. I would go as far to say he wouldnt get into any of the top sides as a starter. Not a single one.

    Barcelona
    real
    United
    Bayern
    Chelsea
    City

Wouldnt get in any of those sides. Closest would be if Chelsea played him as an out and out striker.

Since when were Manchester City, Trafford FC or Chelsea one of the top sides in world football? The top sides in Europe have won 4 or more European Cups. None of City, Trafford FC or Chelsea have.

He'd probably get more assists, but less goals as RVP would be leading the line. I think if Suarez were playing for Utd he'd be used in his wide attacking role, same as he was for Ajax. Be interesting to see if he could recapture his Ajax form in that role, tho I doubt we'll ever get to answer that one!

Tbh it's a bit pointless trying to compare the two as they are playing different roles right now (No 9 vs No 10). In fact, if anything, Rooney has been played in an even more withdrawn role, almost a CAM rather than a forward. Which makes his contribution all the more impressive imo - can't remember Scholes, Gerrard or Lampard ever averaging a contribution per game in that role, tho' that greatly relies on Rooney keeping it up all season.

Besides which, I'm only comparing them to out KPR - the man can never resist a good mouth foaming rant about Rooney <ok>

  17. He is, but do you not think his assists would be higher if we had someone else that could finish...? I sincerely doubt his goalscoring would be lower although he may well get rested occasionally if we had another striker <ok>

Think he'd displace Torres and Sturridge at Chelsea in a heartbeat. If anything, he's the exact type of player Chelsea need - willing to take men on and shoot a lot, and Chelsea would ensure he got enough chances to score match winners, as well as making sure he wasn't the only source of goals.

£50 million bid in Jan methinks... <whistle>
