Well, he's got a good track record as manager so it's silly to rule him out completely, and I'm sure someone in PR has told him how much Saints fans love him. That said, I see Strach getting the recently vacated Scotland job. Di Canio is an obvious option, as he's been very successful at Swindon (albeit in the lower leagues) and has said several times he's ready for the PL. However, he's a ****er.
Much as I like WGS, I`m not convinced he would be a success again. 10 years ago was his time, and things clicked. Boro was a clamity for him too.
I was watching Sky with the sound muted, and listened to the Solent commentary, which was slightly ahead of the pictures, just after Guly came on they reported a scuffle in the Saints section, I was wondering if some numpty booed Guly and found himself in some grief?
WGS is in line for the Scotland job, I thought he was happy in retirement and didn't relish involvement.
There was a bit of a scuffle just behind me but it was in a small group of our more, how can i say, moronic supporters and didnt amount to much. Still pretty daft to a grown up though.
Apart from his time with us WGS does not have a particularly good managerial record in England - difficult to gauge his Celtic achievements in relation to the EPL as i see it. I agree with Aberdeen Saint - his time with us was 10 years ago and there is a good chance that it would all end in tears if he came back for another go.
Pep must be gagging to get out of New York after the recent storms, everytime he steps outside his fancy shoes get wet. I'm sticking my months salary on him.
