Who next if he goes ? who would you realistically like? none of us wanted Pardew so you might be better off without a big name.

Nee one really springs to mind tbh, although as Mush said last week, Di Canio would be interesting.

Mad as a ****ing hatter but we'd be guaranteed attacking football.

I remember when you lads got Parsnip.
A lot of the lads at work were up in arms & screeming about chucking their ST's in the bin.
Can't argue with the job he's done like.

I'd want Martinez if I was you because he's got an eye for a player and his teams play very nice football ! I think he laid the foundations at Swansea and Rodgers got all the credit.

The only thing is I like him and all of a sudden and have to dislike him.

Although I think it is crazy to even consider sacking O'Neill at this stage, if they do I hope they don't get Di Canio. I have a feeling he will turn out to be a cracking boss. He is very passionate and although unorthodox, he seems to be able to communicate with players in a way they respond to. His teams are very attacking and he reminds me of Ferguson in that if they are 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go, there is none of this "I'll sit tight and see if we can nick something". Its "how many strikers have I got on the bench, stick them all on".

Some modern managers are too cautious and wait for things to happen, instead of making them happen.

You're only hoping we keep him because we are looking rough at the minute you git. ;)
With you on Di Canio mind given a couple of years and the right team/backing he could do really well

Too many posts to read through, so, referring to the original post....

MO'N has to stay. For continuity, credibility and anything else nice and positive that ends with "lty"

We wont get another manager with his reputation, ability (see what I nearly did there?) and PROVEN track record(lty)
