OK line drawn AGAIN and we move on. Nothing wrong with the manager or the support it's been the players who have let us down in the last two games. No desire or passion. Thought we actually looked better last night when Guly and Mauka came on of course that maybe because West Brom were just sitting back by then.So the big question is who should start on Saturday? Thought Davis was dire last night so Cork assuming he came through yesterday is a must. We have to win against Swansea so need goals. Rickie has looked a shadow of himself in the last few games but can we drop him? I think I would. Would give Shaw a go. Has some pace which will help against Dyer. For me Gazza Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Ramirez Morgan Cork Lallana Jrod and Mayuka Subs KD, JWP, Guly, Puncheon, Lambert, Fox, Hooveld Over to you! COYR!
I'd love to play Cork, but not sure he's match fit yet Start Puncheon in place of Rodriguez, Shaw in for Fox and keep the rest the same as last night playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Ramirez/Lallana/Puncheon playing just behind Lambert
I would disagree a little with that.., Saying we need to play a 4231 formation!! Gazzaniga Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Morgan Cork Puncheon Ramirez Lallana Rodriguez
This. However, I would replace Rodriguez with Lambert as I felt, although not at his best, he contributed more last night.
A couple of points: A) We did not look better when Mayuka and Guly came on. All we did was pass it sideways. B) Why only 5 subs?
Although had Lambert scored at the start of the 2nd half (and he really should have done) we could have now been talking about a positive result.
Maybe. He really worries me ATM. He would have buried that chance a few weeks back. Just does not look the same player to me. Let's hope if he starts he hits a hat trick on Saturday!
------------Gazza------------ -Clyne--Fonte--Yoshida--Shaw- -----JWP-Schneiderlin------ Mayuka---Ramirez--Lallana -----------Rodriguez--------- I would absolutely love to see this lineup start against Swansea, I was encouraged by how Shaw closed down the opposing winger and was able to tackle him, in fact I don't think I have seen such little space on the oppositions right flank. Shaw seems better going forward than fox with better passing and pace, and perhaps a more effective cross despite Fox's ability from the dead ball. Unfortunately his marking is fairly poor being at fault for 2 goals against manchester u21s. Both Davis and Lambert have been substandard recently and could do with a game off the bench. However I would predict that the more experienced Fox, Davis, and Lambert will start instead. And that is probably the wiser move still it would be very exciting to see such a young lineup take it up to Swansea.

After Adkins publicly criticised Fox his days are numbered, Thank the lord. He spends too much time worrying about his next tatt than to get bloody fit and defend as he should. Lazy to**er and just NOT good enough. Shaw is quick, will make the odd mistake but at least he's fit and will defend. Fonte-i have seen ships turn quicker than him and Yoshida is just not [prem class. Last min.com purchase as we all remember.
Soo pleased Adkins said exactly the same as Neville. Spider turning his back too very poor, but he is French!!! Remember against spurs that block on Lambo's shot. Still cant believe that. If that had been spider he would have ducked for sure!!
