You need help GJ. This man is responsible for more deaths in one action than anyone else since the end of WW2. He was a menace to the world. And you seek to glorify him.
not even slightly true Mao Ze-Dong (China, 1958-61 and 1966-69, Tibet 1949-50) 49-78,000,000 Pol Pot (Cambodia, 1975-79) 1,700,000 Kim Il Sung (North Korea, 1948-94) 1.6 million (purges and concentration camps) Menghistu (Ethiopia, 1975-78) 1,500,000 http://www.scaruffi.com/politics/dictat.html I could continue but im not that bored.
He did say one action to be fair. I'm sure Kim Il Sung probably took a couple of million actions to kill a couple of million people.
but binladen would have spent months planning for it too and im pretty sure there is bound to be atleast one incident in which mao ze-dong's forces killed more than 2000 people.
Bin Laden dying isn't going to make the world a safer place, this is just convenient publicity. It's still scary that he managed to stay hidden so long with all the money spent on finding him?! Also, he was killed in Pakistan by US forces, thought that wasn't allowed...
OK guys I meant terrorist action. The others that Kim Jong Il listed were "elected" at some stage, except Mengistu Haile Mariam.
Death of innocent civilians is still death, in the name of Jihad, Communism or any other. He was a horrible man, but you can't call him the man responsible for the most deaths after WW2!
It's only in America that they think Bin Laden is even that much of a big deal. They've hyped him up as being responsible for every terrorist action since 9/11 and now he's dead they think it's all over and that the ''war on terror'' has been won.
Nobody's trying to pretend that the terrorists will just all give up now. They'll probably even try and take revenge as many news reports have stated. Its more about what bin laden stood for, which until today was the ability for them to escape, survive and continue even with the world hunting them down. Its not the end, but its a major step forward. A morale boosting one if nothing else.
Terrorists is a buzz word, a creation of governments to keep us all ****ting ourselves constantly - and then in 10 years time when someone does blow up 10 people on a bus the government can say "well hell I warned ye" - despite the fact that 3,000 a year in the UK die in traffic accidents it's the terrorists which are the great threat to society...
Mick trying to understand stopme is pretty tricky, drinking bleach in the park can have serious consequences
Actually I think I do understand what you are implying. That because I'm from a catholic background in the north of Ireland that I am defending the murder of a policeman and also guilty, by ethnic association, of being a terrorist? You don't know me yet you continue to make sweeping generalisations about my motives and thoughts. I however can see you for what you are, quite frankly one of the most stupid small minded people on this board.
