Ritchie De Laet returns from suspension, Zak Whitbread is suspended. Sean St. Ledger is still a week or 2 short of returning. Richie Wellens has returned from Ipswich with tonsillitis. Jamie Vardy is a doubt aswell after missing saturday I would change a few players after 2 poor performances. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky James Drinkwater Marshall King Dyer Nugent Subs- Logan, Danns, Gallagher, Knockaert, Schlupp, Waghorn, Futacs I think Knockaert needs a little break and as he has proved already this season he is a great impact player off the bench
I am not a Waghorn fan by a long way but I thought when he came on Yesterday and played right midfield, he showed some energy and some good touches.
Would prefer to go to the 4-4-2 we used during our run. Get Nuge and Vardy/Schlupp running rings around Matt Mills. Get him sent off and go on for a comfortable win
Doesn't matter what team we put out. The scripts already written for a Bolton 1-0 win with Mills getting a header from a corner.
People it has to be Vardy if he's fit and well - He's had an unlucky run with injuries/illness - He will deliver for us this season, I've never been so sure of anything
I agree with AKCJ, I'd like to see 4-4-2. Maybe time for Schlupp to have a run out or Futacs to start.
Bolton are a good side- I'd be pleased with a draw, but at this rate I can't see anything but a defeat I'm afraid. We're just looking very weak in numbers and out of form and positivity.
Wouldn't be that surprised if Keane signs that he goes straight in at CB. It's nice to know that Morgan's so solid it doesn't matter who partners him, though I probably would go with Moore. Incidently, with us signing another 2 19 year-olds (this is depressing, they're the same age as me) I realised how stupidly young our midfield was on Saturday. Drinkwater- 22 James- 20 Knockaert- 20 King- 23 Marshall- 21 I do like having a young midfield, personally, but I felt we could have done with a more experienced head in there. Didn't think I'd be saying this, but Wellens' performances at Ipswich, plus his experience, could warrant a call-back. Shame Danns isn't willing to use this experience!
They probably signed days ago. Just lcfc.com is useless and dont bother telling us until 5 days after we all found out
Maybe Beckford will be recalled hours before the match and get five. Are we really getting this desperate!
