This is largly because Gerrard is playing to deep to cover Lucas. Gerrard is a world class attacker and links up with Suarez brilliantly. We need him around the penalty area and getting in the box. Henderson can come in to cover Lucas. I dont think Sahin has won his place yet.
Sorry, my post wasn't having a go at Gerrard personally. It was more about the fact that we keep saying that we have chances but in reality, they aren't clear cut chances.
Been with the German team, played for the bigger German clubs outside of Munich. Not seen much of him but he sounds a CL calibre player and we need more of them.

Lewis Holtby said that he would love to play in the PL and even for Liverpool even though he's a lifelong bitter. We've had a few bitters play for us and have forgiven them for it i.e Macca, Steve McMahon, Rushie, God, Carra. Being a bitter isn't the reason why we hate Squarehead, we hate him because he joined the rags.
If we needed some cheap, decent cover for Lucas, then Mulumbu is a good shout, he's having a good season thus far for West Brom, looks a good player
Victor Waynama at Celtic would also be a good shout too. Apparently there is a dispute over his contract which runs out in 2015, he seems not too sure to sign and extended deal. He's 21 years old and is a tank.
It appears there is definite legs on the Huntelaar front. Were trying desperately to trash out a deal for Jan or summer my good mates has been told by his mates and he's passed it on to his mates. Can't say who he is because its important he remains very quiet and #autonomous for the time being. Also interested in Holtby mates. Walcott is 50/50. No-one can call it. Can go either way.
