And he won't either. How can you claim to be the voice of reason when you've openly wanted your own side to lose? That's how deluded the guy is
now that's true. there is nobody currently playing can even come close to messi...He is way out in front when it comes to class.....
Im laughing my head off here at ffs ranting and raving like a demented idiot and i have the idiot on ignore what a star...
Did you watch the game? Or even look at the stats for instance? A good finisher and we'd have won 3-1 easy. If Shelvey hadn't have fallen over we'd have won If if if I know... but we really should have won today! We're just depressingly toothless. Are you so mentally incompetent that you can't understand what Rodgers meant?
Rev WE KNOW! As SA9 has said we've been there, strange decisions? pulling players playing well off ? WE KNOW ! All the best pal it's going to be a bumpy ride, WE'VE BEEN THERE!
DAI, VOT, PIMPERNELL, I KNOW YOU ARE READING EVERY WORD please log in to view this image YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE !
Decisions weren't too bad today. Maybe Suso was unlucky to come off but he's 18 and needs protected. We're close to something decent, I believe he'll get a bit closer in January (which can't come quick enough).
Listen if you don't invest heavily you will be in deep sh*te. Suarez is on 4 yellows at the moment. A couple of injuries and Colin Pacoe will have to bloody play. It's going to be a long 8 weeks for you unfortunately and I'm sorry REV and in deferance to your love of Liverpool, we have been there. The Americans want success and while they say publicly that they are in it for the long haul if you don't get results do you think they will continue to push funds at an overseas venture which you are ? I wish you all the best for the future and applaude you for your faith in Brendan! Hope he isn't a false prophet.
i watched the match - as far as i'm concerned it was the same old dalglish problem that liverpool had - dominate in both possession and territory but no cutting edge up front. newcastle were the opposite..... the £7m on rodgers and £25m on borini and allen would be better spent simply buying a forward or two to solve the above problem - dalglish is an excellent manager and its the games loss if he doesnt return to it in some capacity......
Well they've just committed £145M or so to stadium redevelopment so I assume they are. They clearly want to spend money wisely - because of Kenny. If they don't, they're free to sell us to a billionaire, we'd be a very attractive purchase. We all recognise the need for investment - I do wonder if the money for Borini was well spent. It's a little unfair though, he got injured right as we got into our winnable run of games! Hopefully he adds goals to his attitude, which is fantastic. From what Rodgers is saying and what the owners, close connected journalists etc have said, it seems like we'll have maybe £15M-£20M to spend in January. That's my estimate. Current big rumours are Walcott and Huntelaar (both on expiring contracts). EDIT - We do DESPERATELY need firepower!
If you have him on Ignore, how do you know he's ranting and raving? Dai, I don't know you, but I'm glad that the crowd have turned against you recently. You have all of the hallmarks of a classic bully. Did you pick on the little kids at school. Or, more likely, were you bullied yourself?
Yeah it was really bumpy wasnt it - promotion to the promised land and a 1st season there beyond anyones wildest expectations - get a grip and let go of all that bitterness!
So why no investment in August. They probably are there for the long haul, but out bid by spurs for both Dempsey and Sigurdson. Not sure there is that much money there for players. Probably all spent on Allen and Borini. A little more investment in August and you no doubt would be higher up the league. Back to Suarez, did anyone hear the song sung on wednesday. did make me laugh. Your teeth are offside Your teeth are offside Louis Suarez your teeth are offside.
We weren't outbid for Sig - we chose not to bid higher. The owners didn't provide the money for Dempsey due to his age... questionable as he'd have added to our squad, but from their point of view understandable. I do think they'll give money in January, however. If only due to the uproar.. There is money there, but not Man City/Chelsea amounts, and nothing like as wantonly. We spent £15M on Allen £10M on Borini £5M on Sahin (loan)* roughly £3M on Assaidi and kept our best players last summer (Agger, Skrtel etc). It wasn't a complete disaster... but we are still short up top, no doubt. Were you in a position to be picky?
However, it could have been worse, Rodgers could have said that Messi is in the same category as one Mark Gower
