Good crack from Taylor and what a bit of rivalry is all about. You need a bit of pre match banter and I'd rather this than players just using their media training. He must have been quite pleased with the number of bites he got, and over reaction from many. His comments on the death chants confirms as much. Have to say though O'Neill didn't take the bait and his quip was first class. Touche.

If some of the Sunderland fans get wound up so much by some harmless banter to the point where they make death threats, then Sunderland fans deserve to have the piss taken out of them.

    TAYLOR'S RIGHT, SUN'LUNS ****E!

Tell you what I don't get, so many people offended by our fans singing that yet was no mention of the child abuse songs the scum fans were singing.

They were even singing the same thing about Saville being Hendos dad against Liverpool yest.

    Not too bright are they.

What songs are you talking about? I was there and I heard no child abuse songs.

I honestly do not understand why anybody would get upset over the death wish songs. Taylor clearly couldn't give a rats ass and the vast majority of our support doesn't. Anyone who wished him dead and actually meant it, well its more a matter of embarrassment for them than anything else. I read a couple of articles on our board moaning about it and thought "So fecking what, grow a pair" Every club in the land has a hardcore of support who cross the line with sick songs. Everyone has become so sensitive all of a sudden.

Whats the world coming to when you can't make topical risque jokes (like the Saville ones flying around all clubs at present) about your nearest and dearest. Not necessarily the kind of banter I choose to engage in but hardly the end of the world.

Funny thing was, Henderson was having a right laugh about the "Saville is his dad" chants, you should have seen the ****ers face drop when 4000 people started singing "what a waste of money", he ran back to the dugout sharpish <laugh>

It was only banter mate, I'm sure that Taylor and any sensible Mags (contradiction of terms I know) would appreciate that!<whistle>

I'd have Clattermole for Gutierrez and possibly Rose for Simpson if I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
