I said to my friends before the game that if we don't beat Reading at home, then we don't deserve to be in this division. I read just a few minutes ago that Hughe's record is now worse than Harte's, tell me this ain't so..... please. It was summed up for me as I watched Bosingwa stroll back to the half way line and then stroll a bit further and the stop, when Reading were attacking. Either he's utterly unfit or couldn't give a toss, either way we're in trouble. I've never felt so hacked off supporting QPR. A season ticket holder for 14 years, I had hoped and expected that this year was going to see an end to the almost unremitting gloom I have been subject to over the last 14 plus years. Even our championship winning season was marred by the problems with Faurlin and with Briatorie's antics. And after reading what Hughes had to say this morning and last night, I see no end in sight. Our only hope is that assuming Reading and S'pton are relegated then there could be one other side in the division worse than us. But seeing the fight that the other teams around us showed on Saturday, including Reading, even that desperate wish looks to be unfounded.
Better not be doomed, this season isn't the right one to get relegated. £70,000,000 will be pissed up the wall.
Every minute that goes by without seeing the big Post telling us Hughes has been sacked, leaves me sharing your desparation Ealing.
I've managed kept hope so far this season as we have always been in touch, one win would have seen us up and out of trouble. With the results from the weekend one win doesn't see out of the bottom 3 any more, this year I hoped to stay up on our own merit but looks like we will again be hoping teams crumble around us. Only one solution and we all know it....
I think that, given our start to the season, our position in the league and Hughes's terrible record with us that doom and gloom is wholly appropriate.
Just watching Saints getting stuffed, at least they look like they give a f*ck. If we don't beat them then we really are doomed...
All is not lost. If Israel & Iran start WW3 there won't be any relegation. Always look on the positive.
What like in One game..err not any more takes two games now to turn around our fate, after next weekend 3 games..Action need to be taken to correct otherwise it will be too late very quickly gaps are opening.
I can't tell you how much better I feel having given up on survival. All that hope I felt before the season and even before the Redaing game simply disappeared by half time. Now I have nothing to fear, no false hopes or false dawns. It's far easier to cope with now. Incidentally, the Championship winning season was enjoyable, but there was always that lingering doubt for me that Briatori/Warnock/ the team wouyld cock it up big time and as I said before ther was that Faurlain problem hanging over us for half the season, just prolonged enough to destroy our right to a proper celebration. here we have another cock up of monumental proportions. I've just read teh brilliant report (as usual) by Clive on Loftforwords. Definately worth a read if you haven't yet. he's of the same mind as I am. As somebody said before, "It's the hope that kills you", relinquish that and you are truly saved!
