Right lads, had a word with CJS we all know the work he is trying to do over there, and as guest to his/rovers board we have to respect that. I know we were just doing it for a laugh but it has caused cjs to close his thread, of which he was trying to have a serious Conversation on what they should call there cyber pub. I'm all for banter like cjs and many others but we will have to leave it at that Cheers
Our first difference of opinion shiny,I'm all for respect but I still recoil at our people called vermin,**** and a host of other filthy names all in the name of banter when we changed our style,they showed no respect at all,despite all of my efforts of explanation,they even accused me of having a nervous breakdown when I expressed annoyance and they were relentless and we didn't go running to anybody and now our board has prospered. I wish them well,I hope they continue to grow but we owe them nothing,they must manage their own affairs and any advice and decisions made on this board will be taken by all three of us with the agreement of our members...
If you go on the gasheads board and comment (could be relevant to the topic or to wum) you get deleted, some of us decided to post some BS on there and their mod spontaneously combusted, therefore adding some comedy value on a boring sunday, but for some..not so funny.
It does get confusing but changes are taking place on the "gas" board,we allow and welcome free range for all on our board with-in not606 forum rules applying only,over there they have introduced a new rule-book because of the need to increase membership and involvment,there are certain threads where they dictate wums and banter can take place only,the rest are nominated for "gasheads" only or general conversation. Yesterday they ran a thread asking for names for a cyber pub,some of us suggested names such as in my case,"gas and gaiters,the cellar bar" and other such trivial names,we were all deleted for transgression of their new rulebook, despite the fact that we ran a similar thread on our site the day previous and that was and still is there for all to participate,in fact one of their mods is on there with a name suggestion. Yesterday,we had threats of banning issued against our members,7 or 8 comments deleted,2 threads closed with us being blamed and they even had to involve the supermod,today I look on their board and what do I read from one of their crowd,"I'd rather eat a plate of steaming dogshit than join up with those low life gutter dwelling ****s". and they wonder why we react the way we do with all of their highfalutin talk.. I hope all of this is being noted by the supermod and he takes the necessary actions and why we don't take them to seriously,in fact they are laughable.
YOGB is clearly mentally unstable.. judging by past comments about cancer and brain tumours he probably should stay away from the computer.
