Oh ffs Silver... It really is pointless sometimes. I conceded the following: 1. McLaren only win with the best car (and it's the best even when it exploded... I'm betting Austin Motors wish they'd thought of this marketing) 2. Vettel only wins in a bad car (proved by Webber not doing as well as Vettel) 3. McLaren cheat, everybody else makes honest mistakes. 4. The rest of F1 hate Vettel and they're out to get him. Now hear's a nice cup of "shut the *** up". Enjoy. Apologies to everybody else... but this tedious tit for tat it getting right on my Alan Whickers.
Anyone know why the race is not on Iplayer yet? Quite like to actually watch the race before tommorow!, it's weird because they have uploaded the forum but not the actual race...
I thought Hamilton had about 6 tenths over everyone else even if you added the extra time from the missing petrol?
BTW did anyone notice Paul Di Resta beating his teammate today, of course F1 isn't the only series where Di Resta has beaten teammates, he's done it in other places such as DTM and even F3
Kyle every time I come on here which is not often I see you insulting Hamilton. Seriously mate I say this with no offence but I think you have a major chip on your shoulder. Maybe you know different but it certainly looks like that from where I am standing. It's not just about his driving its personal insults every time.
Wasn't Kyle referring to a certain 40+ driver with a rather infamous past? And I'm sure we all agree De la Rosa has made some pretty dodgy moves in the past.
The move on Jenson was excellent a credit to both of them, but on fresher tyres (soft compound) I think he has done better in his past! He didn't overtake the winning Lotus, big difference. I don't recall him overtaking a Ferrari or a Sauber? I'll stand corrected if this is so and he didnt overtake Maldanado did he? The only reason he needed a front wing was because he ran into the back of Senna. Both FI were more or less out of the race on the 1st corner and the Torro Rossos fell off the track getting out of his way, it was like the Red Sea! The only reason Webber was easy was because of his 2 contacts which cost him time and track position + RB conveniently ( and rightly) pitted him out of Vettles way. Like I said earlier, he was in with a shout of the win which is incredible, just like Jenson in Canada and Hungry (2006) luck played a pivotal role!
I also like how people forget that Seb had no idea how this car would handle at the start of the race, the team had a good idea but not if it would actually work like it did. Even after having to start with all that **** he was still lapping as fast as the leaders....with a broken wing YUP! Mostly luck...
Yes Silver.. we get it. The Prophet Vettel worked a miracle. We will all bow down before him, promise him our first born and shall hail him on every second Sunday unless there are back to back races, in which case we'll all pull out our Bratwurst (yes I mean penis) and point to Germany.
Now now Silver, don't by dramatic! Come Austin you will have the 1 fingered triple WDC to promote. His fortune today merely countered his misfortune from previous races, we all know the title should have been his a few races back based on driver/car combo - if it wasn't for reliability he would be 50 points clear itch 2 to go! Lighten up mate!
