It's a certain fact I wont be going to London any time soon. Have a feeling this will just cause the **** to hit the fan again.

I think it's hugely significant that the Americans didn't inform the Pakistani intelligence about the operation until it had begun.

Probably to stop them having a bet on it..

Exactly!!! I am happy the bastard is dead but all this is going to do is start off a new wave of terror attacks. As it has already been said OBL should have tortured slowly. The fact that he was killed (apparently shot) means that he died as a Martyr and will allegedly be heading to paradise with any amount of virgins waiting for him. I hope thats what he gets but the virgins are as ugly as Tevez and riddled with every STI going. The deluded prick.

To be fair Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were created by and funded by the CIA and American money to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan, same as Sadaam Hussein in Iraq was a US puppet at one time.
They're not the root cause of this problem, the US foreign policy over the years is - if they didn't meddle with other countries, it wouldn't come back to bite them on the arse at a later date.

Also Al Qaeda is not a global umbrella organisation, it's a number of factions worldwide who share similar ideologies, although it probably was at one point in its existence, it's now more a brand name if you like.

At least Hannibal Lecter knows how to escape when he's cornered.

The thing that worries me is that there are clearly hundreds of Al Qaeda worshippers or members living in this country! Just beware lads. Chelsea away in two weeks! Think I might walk it!

Finally, someone who doesn't take everything the media say as gospel. Although the term al-Qaeda wasn't actually used by bin Laden or his group until after 9/11, after the media had been calling them that for years. I'd also say that the root of the problem is deeper than US policy, but doubt it's worth going that far here.
