We have seen the team deteriorating before our eyes, for well over a month now. The excuses have kept coming and then even this last week, it was 'when' we beat Boro we would be in the quarter finals of a cup competition and sitting around mid-table. Well that didn't happen, the championship side were better than us and deserved their win. Then I heard Villa next, we will comfortably beat them and be top half, with so many points from the top 4/6 whatever it was and people will be wondering what all the shouting was about. Again, that didn't happen and we now look like a team in complete disarray and I cannot for the life of me, see where the next win will come from.

I look at some people who are 100% backing O'Neill and I actually think it is commendable the loyalty being shown, but it must be coming to the point where some of it now, is people too stubborn to back down from their stance and put their hands up and say we have major problems, and currently it isn't working.

We have to look at the facts though and these facts are:

    1 win in 18?
13 shots on target all season!
    Only 1 goalscorer all season.
Nobody for Sunderland scored in the month of October.
This time last season under Bruce, we had 1 more point.
O'Neill has been out of the game a long time and football has moved on.
O'Neill is without his number 2 (do not underestimate the importance or significance of this)
We have not been unlucky and don't really show any signs or potential of being able to turn it around.

Again, I am openly honest about this and I don't think it's working under O'Neill and would like to see a change of management because I can see us being relegated under him. Carrying on as we are doing is giving us less time to pull it back, IMO.

I would love nothing more to be proved wrong though <ok>.

Cest, Newcastle are currently beating Liverpool so yet again your ifs and buts aren't working and isn't strengthing your case for O'Neill one bit.
