Wow, a draw at home against Reading, that really is the stuff of an established Premiership side. WTF were we doing with the short corners, and almost every cross was lifted into the box despite the fact that their defence was winning every header. Hughes should do us a favour and resign NOW!! Even if we had won, were you convinced?? No, thought not.

If we lose the next game I'll call for his head. If we don't then it'll be if we fail to beat soton. I've had enough.

Shefford. Would you resign if you were on over £50,000 a month. No right thinking person would. Again it was another game we should have won and we didnt. We were flat in the first half but we with a bit more fortune particularly in the 2nd half we would had 3pts and we would all be thinking this is a possible turning point. Im not convinced Hughes is the man but with big games coming up against teams around us this is not the time to change the manager and need to keep the faith at least for the sake of the players a bit longer.

Big games coming up Dave? They're all big games now and do you reckon we'll win away??? This is relegation form 4 points from 10 games

Reading & soton have a game in hand too

Hughes is only taking us in one direction with Tony's blessing

Shefford. If Hughes resigns tonight he probably wont get a penny other than his wages to the end of the month. If he waits to be sacked he probably gets £50,000 a month for the next 2 years of his contract. If you were Mark Hughes would you do?

The money is not the point. And yes, if I KNEW I was **** at my job, I would resign. He will get a huge golden handshake. Good point re: We should have won. Mind you, if my uncle had tits he'd be my aunt. As far as playing the teams around us, we couldn't beat Reading at home. When would you replace him, the day before we play Man U at Old Trafford?

I said last week that the only grounds i can see us winning this season is Reading and Southampton (and possibly a surprise win at Sunderland). I wouldnt be disappointed if Hughes was sacked but lets just give Hughes 2 or 3 more games.Theres always a chance TF stays cool and calm and pulls off a masterstroke.

Stoke will pummell us and our defence looks rickety at best, and if we can't beat Southampton with their wide open backline we really will be heading down. Why wait for something that just isn't going to happen? And a win over Saints isn't going to suddenly make us world-beaters, MH has had 10 months here and we're worse now than we were when he took over...

But even if we change now theres no guarantee a new man will come in and wave a magic wand. As for Man U away if i was chairman id be phoning them up and tell them we wont be coming for the fixture as they have the 3pts and ask if they would be happy to accept another 3 goals on their goal difference.

Dave how can it get much worse? I'd say enough is enough and try a new man as its plainly not happening under Hughes

Isn't Swiss tony doing some sort of fan q&a session this afternoon? I'd like to hear what he says

If he resigns there's a possibility of escaping with some integrity intact and maybe another job.
I'm sure they can concoct a story to make it look good.
If he has to be sacked, who is going to employ him in the near future?

As I said many, many weeks ago, this is death by 38 cuts.

I think many would want Harry as manager but if he wasnt available can you put forward someone who would probably want the job and more importantly who is available. Possible names are Paul Jewell, Owen Coyle, Gareth Ainsworth, Ray Wilkins, Alan Curbishley, Gigi Di Canio etc. Im not convinced any of these would be better.

He can't walk out of two jobs in a row, as it is his reputation is already in tatters.

Major problem for us although hopefully there's a performance related get-out clause regarding the two years of contract left to pay. £6 million, FFS.

I've backed Hughes until I saw a QPR today that looked like the didn't know what they were doing. I would be less annoyed if they had gotten a win but in any case they were so disorganised and it's MH's job to get them organised. No excuses. It doesn't matter if the players are new to each other... you play them in such a way to minimise this problem.

Lets get Luigi Di Canio back. Use to love singing The Di Canio song. "When Rangers sing were going to win Di Canio" (and if i remember rightly we played some lovely attacking football under him) Would help though if spoke English and understood the language
