Stoke City Moderator Nomination Poll.

P P you think? Only thing to do it PM Smither's I think? he can see the voter's choices. Where as, I can not. It's really up to Smither's as to anyone trying to vote now as the Poll is closed mate.

Don't worry Potts, I have voted but I couldn't remember exactly when that's all

 

Cant extend the poll, but I can't imagine anyone objecting to Stoke users adding their votes (like Waddo and Sandra) to the thread. Ric Fuller has only voted once as has Potterpalm - ultimately it's up to you Potts when you want to make the decision!

Did you count those votes where Waddo etc only voted once. e.g. does that Poll show the final votes as of tonight? If it does mate, the results may as well stand.

In short, do I ADD more votes for Waddo, Potter Palm etc who could not / did not vote twice? Or do I take the above result as read?

 

Sandor and Waddo voted for me (as per the thread notes) so that makes it as follows:

Potterpalm 3
Sandor 8
Smithers 8
Tent 7

Ric and Potterpalm have only voted once so I don't know if you want to ask them for their other vote? As said before I'm only here because I was nominated (although I appreciate those who votedbfor me) so not that fussed and think Tent should be a mod based on his quality contribution and tireless support - given where he lives! If you think that based on his travel he may not be on the board enough to be a full time mod I don't mind being the 3rd mod to just help out - either way I'm easy.

Well, looking at the result even IF Ric and Potter Palm voted it would not change anything.. I guess that means we now have THREE new Moderators for the Stoke board then.

I'll just add that, it has been a " Blast and an honour to be a Moderator for the last few seasons" I now need a rest and thanks to all you Stokie's, some we have lost, some joined not so long ago.

Cris said he would "Help out when possible" so if you are still OK with being the third Mod fantastic. I will contact a Senor Moderator and get things moving. I assume you will get a P.M. telling you some of the do's and don't but for the most part. It's just common sense and using your own judgement if a thread goes way OTT that kind of thing.

Good luck to all three of you, Sandor, Tenterden and Smither's.. sounds a bit like a firm of solicitors

Just wanted to say thank you for your efforts to date and don't be a stranger on the board - obviously when you get back from your break - lucky bugger!

Also if Sgt views thanks for your efforts and I think the board misses your valued input.

Just like to add my thanks to Potts and Sgt for their time and effort in performing the moderator roles and congratulations to the 3 new moderators and good luck.

It was a pleasure lads Main thing is we all keep on posting and I WILL do that Smither's no worries. I ain't going on me hols for another week. And please feel free to delete any of my post if I have a rant once in a while... GOOD LUCK to you all. Not sure when things will change Sandor,Smither's and Cris. I have imformed one of the Senior Mods and I'm waiting for them to get back to me.

He's been really busy and I understand why he's not posted for a while. He said he was also "Pleased that others had taken over the job"

As I said, I just hope I don't get banned for posting a long rant.

 

Make your rants as long as you want Potts, I'm sure many posters on here would echo your thoughts. However wouldn't it be great if TP suddenly saw the light (or listened to the fans), changed his tactics, discarded his negativity (especially at home), stopped playing people out of position, played two wingers and an orthodox left-back. We might go on a long winning run, surge up to 8th place and everyone would be delighted. We can dream.
