I was watching the same game everybody else in this thread was was watching. He'd been utterly anonymous up until that point- tell me one thing he'd done, other than squander possession. (When's Robinho arriving by the way?)
I believe it was you who created this thread Grifter only to find Cisse scored and have subsequently been made to look like a plum
I'll ask you again, what did he do up until his goal? The commentators even mentioned how he'd "not been at the races" up until he scored, at which point his performance improved somewhat. Go argue the toss with someone else
I would play Cisse every game. Scored one, couple of other great efforts from distance, great cross for Zamora, lay off to Taarabt for what should have been a goal. Might be anonymous for long periods but is a threat and takes chances.
Cisse was piss poor throughout the game, he livened up after scoring but did little and his last minute effort was the only other decent thing he did in the game...
