We just can’t defend corners/free kicks. None of the CBs on our books can command the area. Another performance lacking energy and effort. We need something or someone to spark us into life and soon. Lifeless.
Gorkss and Leigertwood are massive for Reading and Shorey certainly knows how to cross a good ball. We seem to be getting completely crowded out when trying to break out. A few good shots - we just need one of them to go in and pretty quickly.
Absolutely. We don't help ourself by conceding 10 free kicks/corners in the first 20 minutes! The group is so low on confidence now it's frightening.
Reading are much quicker to the ball, when we get in promising positions there is no movement and we're getting nowhere, it's clueless...
There's just no proper shape to the team or any sign of the players fighting for their cause. Reading are half a yard quicker and seem to win all the 50-50s. It's hard to see where we're gonna get anything from if the players aren't on the same wavelength. I fear the worse...
Reading look a poor team. But at least they're a "proper" team.. QPR are some weird Frankenstein of a bunch of players seemingly purposefully designed play against their strengths. Every chance we've had has been an individual effort
