The sun was in my eyes! Not easy to say much about the game because you spend half the time straight forward at the offside line. Kick off got moved earlier because they wanted to get back on the coach ASAP so that's why some people were confused. In reality Sunderland didn't defend very well so Saints got five goals without dominating that much. Flannigan got a lot of credit at right back it seemed. From my point of view it shows you how hard the assistants at the top level have it, it looks easy on the TV but even at that level it's so fast and you have to concentrate on being in exactly the right place for 90 minutes (whilst watching four things at the same time).
I hear Jason McCarthy (centre half) is quite good. Judging by the clip against Villa wher he skins two defenders only to finish like a centre half, he's preetty quick too!
