Anyone see those Polish lads in there today- the constant Ali G impressions, they got some chants going by themsleves when it was pretty dead in the 1st half and they got chucked out by the stewards for smoking weed in the stands. About 10 stewards came over, asked for them to come with them and chucked them out. The bloke next to them shouted "don't do that he's ******ed".
I was in E1, but I ****ing KNEW I could smell weed I thought I might be going mental though. This thread has brought some peace of mind
I'm in E3 but missed this. Was it in the 2nd half when there was some anti-steward chanting going on from the ulltras?
Yeah. Stewards were ridiculously heavy handed- it didn't need 10 of them to get them out. The lads were down at the front jumping up and down with Roary the Tiger while their mates took photos of them.
Ah I was unaware it had happened, I'm up quite near the back. I spend most of the game swaying madly from side to side trying to see the game behind some lanky kid's pubey mop top.
I sit the row in front of where they were but couldn't smell anything. They've been a few times this season, they normally go in front of me and take their beer in the stands and smoke anyway, so them been thrown out has been coming for a while.
They'll have been chucked out for smoking, the weed element will have been coincidental, although having 10 of them do it does sound like they were making a bit of a hash of it.
I was a couple of rows back and couldnt smell anything, they were having a laugh and having there own little atmospheric party, everyone around loved it. Someone must have grassed on them from away cos like I said everyone around was having a laugh with them o or was that at them!!
I,m in E3 but saw/smelt nothing, did this happen during half time? as me and my mate were having a beer at half time and there was some anti steward chanting going on near us
Dean Windass won the award for most overdressed man in the east stand today as well. Why doesn't he sit in the clubs seats?
Because the club apparently stopped the "free tickets for former players". So now he has to pay like everybody else. It's an injustice. He's one of the greatest Hull City heroes of all time and they can't find him a job somewhere in the club structure. What a crock of ****.
The ex-players who work corporate for us no longer get a ticket for a game they're not working at either. They're not coming to those games on a point of principal now. We have a half empty stadium, yet we won't give a free ticket to players who've played hundreds of games for us. We don't even give free tickets to the youth scouts who work for us for nothing and are responsible for finding local lads for our academy(at least one of which now only recommends players to the Leeds academy). It's bloody stupid and completely self defeating.
Forget about the financial side of things it is an absolute disgrace that Dean Windass hasn't basically being given a front door key to the KC Stadium. It shows a total lack of respect and what does it cost the club really?
