Beware of turning into Arsenal, or something like that.

Yeah, beware. You wouldn't want to win the odd premier league occasionally!

    I'm bored..

Decent match today.. Not sure really whether we were any good or arse just terrible.. Bit of both really.. We should have had a fair few more goals in all honesty. Think although we are top we still need a combative CM. though I thought ando did well midweek vs Chelsea. Would genuinely like to see if be can keep that form up..

Did you see him ghost past Arteta today? it was quality. Made me laugh too at how easy he made it look, Arteta barely twitched and Ando was gone. Looks like he's trimmed down and sped up this year.

I don't think United got out of second gear today and still should have hammered them. If only every match could be that easy, but not many teams will roll over like that for us.

Apparently Anderson's always been one of the quicker players at OT, even when he's been carrying too much weight. He's looked good recently, let's hope it's not another false dawn.

I think he's fatter than ever, which is a shame as he is so talented.

I think Anderson is a good player, unfortunately because of injuries, car crashes and squad rotation he has struggled to get a good run in the team for a while, if he gets a good run of games his fitness and match sharpness will improve and he could become a big player for United this season.

It was decent but Arsenal were just dire and we should have easily scored a couple more goals.

Arsenal did look poor. Mind i thought you looked really sharp for good spells of the match but just lacked a bit in front of goal at crucial times
Incidentally, what's the difference between Jimmy Savile and Arsene Wenger? At least with Savile you knew you'd get a medal.

    Like he'd ****ing know.

We should have been a good few up by half time but weren't so good in the second half.
Van Persie has to take penalties from now on though.

Arsenal were just ****, powder puff bollocks. The type of football you wouldn't pay ten bob to watch, let alone the prices they have the neck to charge.
Sad how they've turned out, it used to be a genuine rivalry.

I think it really got to SAF seeing Arsenal so pathetic.

Must get tiresome seeing rival manager after manager falling in his wake.

They've turned on Shelvey. Joe Allen seems to be falling out of favour too.

I've never seen anything more than a mid table player in Shelvey (at best), it's not that I think he's a bad player as such I just don't see the so called potential that everyone always talks about. As for Allen, he's an effective hard working player that does a good job for the team as part of a midfield 3 (I've always though he would struggle as part of a 2 man midfield), his problem is that he doesn't do anything special in a team that's crying out for more "magic".

Suarez would be a great player if he was a wide attacker with a great CF leading the line, like at Ajax. That way he'd be able to chip in with goals whilst not being under pressure to carry the team. Seems that he can't really drive the team to success at Liverpool as a great striker would - too often he's scoring the goal to rescue a point, whilst missing the chances that could give them three.

Sterling could be awesome in the future, as long as Liverpool don't burn him out like they did with Fowler and Owen.

I don`t know if Shelvey has been given free reign to roam but he is terrible at trying to hold a position. He reminds me a bit like a kid in a schoolyard just has to run to wherever the ball is, could be youth though as when Fletcher started in our first team he reminded me of a headless chicken.

I was in a pub quiz last night and we ended up with a tie breaker question which I got wrong. It was "Who am I? I was never off the nation's TV screens in the 70s and 80s but rarely heard of since then. I am famous for wearing tacky shell suits, being good at running and closely associated with an obsession for 1960s pop music. I am in trouble with the Police and am now despised by the entire country." I just assumed it was the entire membership of the Anfield Kop <doh>
