A long shot but it could happen. See the fixtures............. http://www.skysports.com/football/league/0,,11687,00.html
question... if 2 teams are joint top at the end of the season............ those 2 get automatic promotion, but what about the team that finish second? it has always been 1st and 2nd, so would the team that finish 2nd be moved to the playoffs?
Only one team is first and only one team is second. 1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored. I would imagine there are even more tie breakers than that. Still your situation is not possible as your team in 2nd would actually be in third place. It is not a question of it being moved into the playoff spots, it was never not in the playoff spots.
Hope Olifanjana gets a run v Wolves, could be the matchwinner v his old club- do well betting on these kind of things was RVP today v the gunners
You are of course assumming that Charlton beat Cardiff and of course our strikers actually manage to find the net again. It is beginning to be like last season all over again. Lots of shots on goal but no finishing.
