I know you guys don't usually talk about the match properly until like the day before or so but I've put a match thread up on our board http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/177275-Everton-v-Sunderland?p=3713585#post3713585 so feel free to join in! P.s. go easy, there's only four of us there
Fellaini will absolutely torment us. As will Baines, Miralles, Jelavic. Distin will as usual boss the air, and Jagielka the deck. Still, I'm going for an eternally optimistic 1-1.
A big thumping defeat (on a par with some we have experienced at your place before) would spark full scale riots up here mate (not me I hasten to add) so I'm hoping for a good performance. Confidence is severely dented, although I think we played with a lot of heart and spirit yesterday despite carrying no luck and it all stems from that quarter final defeat at our place last season. Revenge would be sweet, however, I am realistic and can see nothing better than a hard earned draw for us and more probably a defeat.
One of the quality moments of last season was Vaughan's own goal against Everton in the Cup. He'd only just came on as sub as well. We were pissing ourselves watching it. Quality.
You're our bogey team and we're crap at the moment, so it doesn't look good for us. That said, this may be the game we spunk a jammy 1-0 win up yer bums as **** knows, we owe you plenty!
I fear a bit of a tonking,.4-0 or 5-0. Best we can hope for is 0-0 but we can't keep a clean sheet at home to Boro and Villa so I can't see it. Fellaini will tear us to shreds, it will be Everton vs L.Cattermole
Agree Parker, I would be looking at a 5-0 and it might be a blessing in disguise because he normally walks when the going gets tough and its already heating up.
No way O'Neill will resign. I think he sees this as his last job in.football and won't want to go out like that. He'll fight as hard as he can. The players owe him a huge performance
We need a win. I predict that it will be at Goodison this Saturday. We not only smash our hoodoo, but go on a unbeaten run etc until the end of the season. Aint done that in alot of years, but what the hell, football does that to you.
