If we come out playing 4-4-2 and playing "Zone" defense and not man-marking, I'll come down the stands and lop off MH's head myself in the first 10 minutes. Just watch.

We MUST play 3 in the middle at the back. Otherwise heads are gonna roll. Own the midfield with 5, and man-mark the **** out of them. We can even play 3-6-1, just to stack the midfield and take control. We've got enough shooters to get at the goal. Let Cissé prove to us he's with us by his lonesome up there and make some combination players with Adel. Lets go.

    I think 4-1-4-1 but I agree not 4-4-2

I fear a repeat of West Ham if we play four in the middle.

I too fear that MH will do exactly this and play 442 with SWP on the right, Taarabt on the left and Hoillet and Cisse up top.

They have Shorey at left back and he is slower than Gorkss, so why not SWP? Mackie as an impact if all goes wrong. Time for Mr Hughes to deliver.

Simples....just go 4231 and evolve into 433 when in possession....oh and start will Ale & Samba as the holding midfield and then rotate with Granero when one of them ventures forward

Simples indeed Tramore, sadly MH won't cotton on until we're 2-0 down a la West ham...

Surely we no need two strikers up top...Gives us a chance to score or even shoot!.Im going to cry if I see a lone striker again,up against 3 big defenders.

This is a good side. Even Paul Hart couldn't f*** it up with this eleven. We have one of the best managers in football?? Bulls**t Tony.

Maybe Faurlin in the deep lying playmaker role and Diakite and Granero more freedom to attack the box?
