Hodgson alienated not just the fans, but some of the players too. Some of them were perplexed by his tactics and training methods. Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson being two examples.
Thats all down to Glen Johnson himself, due to his performances. He knows he has competition for the right back slot with Micah Richards, Martin Kelly and Kyle Walker around. 3 years ago, his competition was Wes Brown.
Totally agree with that but I was getting at the fact that Johnson was one of Roy's biggest critics when he was at Liverpool
Not true if the apology itself continues the initial effects of the original troll. Which it has. Call yourself a united fan living on the LFC board? Embarrassing.
It was Gerrard who was apparently trolling according to the poster. I was making an observation that if he was indeed trolling then to apologise to Moyes, Everton and Pulis soon afterwards, seemed counterproductive. Interesting that you took exception to that
I do understand what you are getting at. I just do not think Gerrard got anything by his "troll" if that what he indeed intended to do..
Apologised profusely? He make it sound like je's nipped round to Woodison and got down on his hands and knees begging Gollum for his personal forgiveness.
Gerrard got caught up in the heat of the moment. If he wasn't upset with the fact that Liverpool had a very good goal disallowed, I reckon there would be something wrong with him. His comments were a bit exaggerated, and he's admitted that. It should not be used as a stick to beat him with.
Just watching the highlightsof the Everton game and so far I think they've hit about 7 long diagonal balls to Fellaini. Effective but maybe Gerrard had a point
Based on what? Sometimes I think no one actually watches us play, they just read the tripe in the papers or hear the ****e on the radio and spit it back out again as their own thoughts. Problem: We create alot of chances. We don't score enough. Solution: Buy a goal scorer. End result: We create alot of chances. We score enough goals to win games. Seems very simple to me... There is nothing wrong with BR or the way he wants to play. There is nothing majorly wrong with the team he plays. We just need someone who can hit the ball in the net consistantly.
This is the important point. I don't watch all of anyone else's games, and I'm pretty sure that no fan of another club watches all of ours. Yet, for some reason, they feel entitled to speak as though they know more about us than we do.
