Probably close to what Rooneys on. 150-200k I would imagine. *Edit. Telegraph says he's on the same as Rooney and state that its 220k. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...van-Persie-wage-parity-with-Wayne-Rooney.html
I thought Rooney was on £180k p/w. Anyway, just goes to show that some players will choose an institution over a 'project'. It's a shame there aren't more of them out there.
180k is probably the basic wage, when you add in all the other BS like appearance fees, bonus and the rest it probably comes out at 220k. Media always likes to use the highest figures.
Imagine getting bonuses when you're already on the best part of £10m a year as a basic wage Fucking madness.
His technique and finishing ability are second to none. I always feel we've got a goal in us whenever he's on the pitch.
"It is true man city were interested in him" How the **** does that get to city offered 300k a week? Journalism is a disgrace in this country
Not sure how they can qoute wages but you must admit its likely he would have got more money to play at City. Watched game today you could have done with rvp! You never seemed to really get going need to put big yaya further up!
It is a bit unlikely, thinking they can afford 300k/pw when their current wage bill far exceeded turnover
Van Persie can't be that good though. We're skint, and can only afford free transfer has-beens and unknown Portuguese tramps.
