I'm so glad you did that, because I was going to have a crack at something similar in the morning.

This kind of thing is something that football team boards should be looking at. After a run of poor performances, they change the manager and - hey presto - results improve, justifying their decision. All they have to do is wait out the bad results.

I suspect that we'll start to rise up the league from after Monday (I'm afraid I don't see us winning vs WBA, much as I'd love it) when we start playing the teams in the bottom half of the league.

I firmly predict that we'll be wondering what all the fuss was about come May next year.

And, by the way, another statistic. Teams in the bottom four places at this point in the season over the past four years - obviously a sample of 16. Well, only seven of them ended up going down. The odds are with us.

I feel much the same, not really betting on a win against West Brom, a point would be great, and I do still feel that we can comfortably avoid relegation, maybe not quite firmly predict, more nervously predict haha.
